Videogames. WIP.
Meanwhile, basic info: I like action games, FPS games, anything sci-fi, and I've been spending a lot of time on itch.io recently.
I also play a lot of Warframe and sometimes Minecraft.
Fell for Ultrakill like many others, recently playing Moonring and White Knuckle.
Video game rec-Corner
This time: If you like megastructures, concrete, and gawking at cool environments (like me), I reccomend:
- Concrete Abyss - Has its issues, took me a while to realize how parrying works, but the soundtrack is nice, the environment is concrete (sorry not sorry), and who wouldn't want to fight robots as an android girl anyway? It certainly gave ME dreams of being an android neut and fixing up a megastructure (video game idea, for my future, maybe?).
- NaissanceE - Walking sim. Its first few chapters are the strongest in my opinion, but overall it's visually striking and enjoyable for fans of brutalism. Its particular brand of nonsensical 'alien' architecture is unique; I've never seen anything quite like it. Play alone and let your mind wander, or with a friend and have fun times talking and experiencing NaissanceE together.
- White Knuckle - Will write a more detailed descriptions later.
- Babbdi - same as above.
- Lorn's Lure - same as above, note to self: first chapters are great, last one: do not attempt to play to not sour the experience. Some folks describe it as empty and repetetive (regarding the climbing mechanics), but again, if you are the type to enjoy walking sims, this one is for you.
